Our origins – the aviation industry
The significant path to our core competencies
RO-RA entered the aviation industry more than 12 years ago. Since then, the company has concentrated exclusively on this industry and has continued to develop within it. The focus is on the business areas of Rods, High Precision Components and Mechanisms. Through the challenges and projects already mastered, RO-RA has greatly expanded and improved its fields of competence. Our customers benefit from individual solutions due to the continuous precision from the enquiry to the delivery of the component and beyond.
The strategic development in our core areas
Together with our business partners, we would like to take further steps in the future and expand our three existing business areas. OEMs are facing new requirements in aviation, which is why RO-RA wants to actively support its customers and reliably offer them new solutions. We have the ambition to make our products even more efficient and environmentally conscious in the future and to offer excellent customer service as an all-round package.
In the Rods business field, new development measures are already being taken and digital solutions are being created for our customers. The High Precision Components business unit will focus even more on complex components and assemblies. The focus will be on the further development of our processes and the development of new process technologies in order to offer contemporary, modern products. The next steps in Mechanisms will be efficient solutions for maximum comfort in the aircraft cabin.
Our goal is to sustainably and profitably expand our positions in all three business areas through competitive solutions.

By entering the market in the rail vehicle industry, RO-RA is expanding its business fields in the mobility sector. The knowledge, skills and requirements can be adapted very well due to the similarity of the two industries. RO-RA positions itself in the rail vehicle industry with the already existing business fields from the aviation industry, as we believe that these product groups can be optimally integrated in rail vehicles, especially with the guiding construction idea.
